The track was uploaded this evening to BBC Introducing's servers so with any luck you'll be hearing it in all its glory in the near future. They've been playing our live session version recently, which is available for playback on iPlayer for the next week or so (also check out the track on there called English Rain by Jump the Shark, those guys rock). Our last upload to their show got sent down to Radio 1 so fingers crossed we see that again.
This all marks the first completed step on our journey towards our next release. Right now we can say that we're looking at releasing an EP of potentially four or five tracks, and we're also looking at the possibility of re-writing and re-recording some of our older material as well. I'd give a release date to you guys right now but frankly I'd be lying if I said I hadn't pulled it right out of my ass. We really just don't know when it's all going to come out; it could be anywhere between November and like, March. There are so many variables that come into play that it'd be irresponsible and frankly retarded to give you a firm date at this stage.
However, as with all things, progress is progress. We have our first song down. It's sounding great. Now we'll be looking at artwork, more track recordings, and with any luck, a music video or two from the remaining tracks on the EP. From where I'm sitting, it's all looking pretty dandy.
We've got a couple of weeks off now, until our next show at OsFest 2014. Keep an eye out!
