I just want to say thank you to everyone that has supported us. I've been able to travel all over the country, playing to ever larger crowds with this band and I've enjoyed every second of it - from our antics in the practice room to getting up on stage in huge venues such as the O2 Academy Islington.
But since beginning my university studies in Mechanical Engineering in 2012 I've had less and less time to give to the band, and I've felt like we have missed some great opportunities because of that.
I am leaving the band now, because I want our music to get heard and known, one way or another. Bringing Jamie in to take my place was a truly difficult decision and one I made alone, but I honestly believe that he's providing the best possible opportunity for Fight The Dice to make it huge and that's something I am happy to live with. I'm going to be there with the guys every step of the way and I just hope that something fantastic comes out of all this.
There’s going to be new music headed your way soon with Jamie in the driving seat, and I for one can’t wait to hear it.
Thank you all for the memories.
Phil
