As you may already have noticed, Thursday the 14th of March was Phil's 19th Birthday (Happy Birthday, Phil). So last Friday I made the journey up to Sheffield Uni to partake in the celebrations, ironically on the same day my sister came back from Sheffield Uni in order to be home for my Dad's Birthday on the 16th (Happy Birthday, Dad). Needless to say the night was filled with frivolity and we all felt awful in the morning. And what a grim Saturday it turned out to be with the long journey home and the close of the Six Nations not quite going how I'd have liked. Or at all how I'd have liked.
Sunday came along and while I was with family for a roast dinner, the rest of the guys were discussing putting a lyric video on youtube. And so by the time my relatives had all left and I could properly engage in the discussion, there was a new video up detailing every lyric from the third track on our album, Blindfold. And at this point I'd like to invite you all to acknowledge the stirling work Tom did of that by going over to our youtube channel and giving it a thumbs up.
And there should be further praise for Tom this week as on Tuesday he passed his Driving Theory Test which isn't really that much of an achievement but is still a very positive step towards me not having to pick him up for nights out anymore and is apparently enough excuse for Tom to get drunk in the middle of the day - something I don't recommend. So it goes without saying that when I turned up at his house at 5 o'Clock ready to work on new material, we went on to have a very interesting time.
And I suppose that's it for this post.
